The story tells of a man who killed his wife and the wife's brothers they locked him in a room without food or drink until he died, then became ghost and tormented the inhabitants of the house of that old English house, and I think this history it is fiction novel because novel is a long narrative, normally in prose which fictional characters and events usually in the form of a story sequential story I think.
THE HISTORY FOR AN HOUR
the story tells of a woman named Mallard and had heart, where her husband Richard had died and took the precausion to tell the truth, once knowing the truth locked himself in his room and began to think that no longer would be the person estubo much time with her and thought she could take control of his life and that no will powerful would crush his, and said'm free, free, free, When the doctors came they said she had died of heart of joy killing , I think that is is fiction short story because spoke, focus and one moment of the history.
The Story of an hour is a short story because, it has a few characters and is just 2 pages, that means they don´t explain a lot about the story and the characters.

ResponderEliminari think, this story is fiction, because tells about a girl. who can see a ghost and she can speak with him, she is not scare. for me is fiction because the ghosts does not exist is only fiction created in our mind. the story is interesting because we can imagine a ghost like a person for speak and express what happen in our life, maybe in this story the girl thought that the ghost could be her friend. i think that this can be happen in our personal life when we are sad or maybe we can feel alone and our imagination can create a new friend for express our emotions.
I liked to read The Cantervilles Ghost.It was more interesting story than the other one. I think the different between short story and novel is that the novel has more details.And short story is a little bit specific the author does not expalin in detail evrythig.

ResponderEliminarI really like both, when you read The Story of an Hour, in the middle is kind of boring but with that end I just loved it. In the other hand, The Canterville Ghost gives you a different impression when you read it, the story is really insteresting and nice
